Charming Backyard Wedding in Midway, Utah
A quiet, secluded grazing field set back on a dirt road in the bride’s hometown is where Cassidy and Mike said their vows and made their marriage official! The backdrop of Mt. Timpanogoes behind them as they said I do. This wedding was pure happiness and every little detail planned with care. Cassidy got ready in a bedroom of her childhood home while a crew of family members set up the backyard tent. The dress was custom made and one of the most unique designs I’ve ever seen! A bouquet of locally grown flowers tied the whole look together. The day was sunny with blue skies and the threat of a midday summer rainstorm. As guests started to arrive for the ceremony, big gray storm clouds appeared and some drops of rain started to fall. Mike and his groomsmen hid out in an abandoned shed alongside the river not far from the ceremony location and waited out the 15 minute storm. Almost as quickly as the clouds appeared, they were gone but left behind that glorious smell of fresh grass which created the perfect ambiance for a ceremony for two of the most outdoor loving people that exist! The reception followed soon after where family and friends gathered to mingle and drink and eat from a local favorite food truck. It was the perfect day!
